A CITY’S STORY: PLAY YOUR PART

Hull’s recent history has been tough and life for many within it, hard. This is illustrated in the region’s health. One of the UK’s most deprived cities, life expectancy is lower than many parts of the country and varies widely across the region. The city has high levels of smoking, obesity and binge drinking, which is reflected in the equally high levels of cancer, heart disease and diabetes.

But this is a story that is changing. And you can play a part. Here is a chance to help create a place that is living healthier, longer and better. To help redefine a place where people choose to live, work, play and visit.

TO BELONG TO A PLACE THAT IS ALWAYS REMARKABLE AND WHOSE PEOPLE ARE EVER EXTRAORDINARY.
